The Eye-Q Podcast and the Eye Health Summit offer helpful information for IIH patients and providers

Dr. Rani Banik is a board-certified Neuro-Ophthalmologist and fellowship trained in Neuro-Ophthalmology. As a physician, she uses her expertise in integrative medicine where nutrition, lifestyle, and education can preserve your vision and improve your overall health.

Dr. Banik was also a speaker for our IIH webinar series where she discussed IIH from a Neuro-ophthalmologist’s perspective. She discussed some of the tools a Neuro-Ophthalmologist uses to make a diagnosis of elevated intracranial pressure such as: the Frisen Papilledema Scale, Humphrey visual field test, and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) that was discussed in detail. To learn more about these tools, visit our article A Look Into The Brain Through The Eyes.

Dr. Banik recently launched a 3-part series on IIH and how it affects the eyes on her podcast Eye-Q. In this series, she discusses how the diagnosis of IIH can be achieved, the treatment and management of this condition, and her personalized approach.

Dr. Banik is also the founder of The Eye Health Summit, a free online event that will take place May 1-7, 2025.
