In honor of IIH awareness month, we will hold a live webinar on Monday, September 16th at 10 am EST. This month we are hosting Dr. Pierre Gobin and Dr. Brian Snelling. He has over 10 years of experience in the treatment of neurovascular disorders, including those used to manage IIH.
In preparation for our webinar, we would like to open the discussion to the IIH community. What questions would you like answered from a neurointerventionalist and neurosurgeon? We are currently polling on our Instagram and other social media platforms. All questions will be considered and the most common questions will be addressed.
We will be reaching out to those who have already submitted a question by either providing an immediate answer or directing them to evidence-based resources. If your question was chosen, we will also notify you.
A lot of questions are fertility-related. In December 2022, we hosted Dr. Nicole Plenty, who is an obstetrician-gynecologist and maternal-fetal medicine specialist. Her webinar discusses how obstetrical treatment is tailored to those with IIH and pregnant. In the future, we will host another OB/GYN to address other questions such as PCOSA hormonal disorder, seen in women, that is not well understood and pre-pregnancy questions.
